Citroën reveals the New C5 Aircross SUV: An SUV with character

NEW C5 AIRCROSS SUV: BIGGEST PERSONALITY WITHIN THE SEGMENT
Built to showcase an assertive personality, the New C5 Aircross SUV differentiates itself with its attitude, energy and on the road presence. Measuring at 4.50m in length, it stands proud among its competitors with its key Airbump® design feature, large wheels that measure at 720mm in diameter, high ground clearance of 230mm and stylish roof bars. In the cockpit, you will immediately feel a sense of safety and space. The instrument panel is pleasing to the eye, so too is the broad centre console that is made from high-quality materials. Following the example of past Citroën models, the C5 Aircross can be personalised to suit the taste of every buyer. There are up to 30 exterior combinations, including the choice of 7 body colours, a black roof option, and 3 distinct Color Packs for the front shield, roof bars, and Airbump® at the bottom of the front doors.

As a result of the Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme, the New C5 Aircross SUV emphasises comfort throughout and comfort thus represents the SUV’s strongpoint. Two major innovations are the Citroën suspension setup with Hydraulic Thrusts Progressives® and the smart use of space to maximise storage. Taking inspiration from its MPV line of vehicles, the SUV features the best trunk in class of 580L that expands to 720L after stowing away the 3 individual back seats.
NEW C5 AIRCROSS SUV: THE NEXT GENERATION SUV THAT IS MODERN AND HIGH-TECH
Truly ahead of its time, the SUV is equipped with a wide 12.3″ TFT display, 6 connectivity technologies as well as 20 driver assistance technologies, including Highway Driver Assist and ConnectedCAM Citroën®. The New C5 Aircross SUV is powered by a Euro 6.2 engine, with options being the 6-speed manual gearbox or the 8-speed automatic gearbox. There will be 2 petrol and 3 diesel versions upon its launch. The New C5 Aircross will be the first Citroën model to be equipped with Plug-in Hybrid PHEV technology.
The New C5 Aircross SUV will be marketed in Europe at the end of 2018 and will be produced in the Rennes-Janais factory in France.
